I took out my decade old nose rings for a job that I apparently did not get. That, my friends, sucks.
At first I was like, 'whatever, I'm too old for them anyway', but now, out of principle, I'm agitated about it.
The holes themselves close up within hours, so it's not like I can just stick the studs back in without a really painful, tear inducing, popping noise.
I've been had.
Now I'm going to have to go out and get like, a forehead tattoo to reclaim my sense of self. Maybe that pirate ship I wanted. Lord knows I have enough real estate on my forehead for at least a quarter-scale pirate ship.
Harrumph.

I know, I know, I should. They hurt sooo friggen bad to get done though, I'm really not looking forward to re-stabbing myself in the nose area. Not fun - either time.
However, I hope, in the long run, that the self sacrifice will pay off with a job that returns me to my home at night sans the aroma of deisel fumes. That would be a gift worth more than holes in ma' nose, indeed.
